The Princess Royal is a beautiful small boutique boat which consists of six Standard rooms on the main deck and a large Deluxe room on the sundeck . A variety of European and Asian dishes are available on board, all of which have been hygienically prepared by our experienced chef. Also available is a wide selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages from our bar until midnight. In the case of emergency on the cruise you will also be able to note our international-standard safety system.

With our small capacity of only 14 passengers on the cruise at one time you will receive a better in depth experience and more personal service. This personal service can be taken in further during our sand bank dinner and cocktail over a serene sunset as well as while having picnic lunches at small villages, throughout your journey, where you will obtain remarkable experiences that will last you your lifetime.

The journey on Ayeyarwaddy (Irrawaddy) River lets you have a memorable experience. The river provides you an opportunity to see one of the most interesting areas in Myanmar onboard in the modern and comfortable ships. Specious, well equipped observation and sundeck, a place to relax and having sunburn offer the spectacular views of historical monuments and the ways of local livings along the famous Irrawaddy River. Located at the upper deck, furnished dinning hall is another place to rest, relax and having delicious cuisine and drinks during the cruise. Between two ancient capitals, it stops at Mingun, Sagaing, Yandabo Village and River Village respectively able to join the passenger en-route.

3 days (option 1)

Day 1

Mandalay – Mingun – Sagaing

Embarkation time is 10:00 at Shwekyetyet Jetty (Mandalay). Welcome Drink and briefing.Sail upstream for about one and half hour we arrived at the MINGUN Pagoda Complex. Mingun Bell

Well known short trip to see the unfinished pagoda, the Mingun Bell, weighting 90 tones and the biggest hanging undamaged bell in the world and the "Home For The Aged".

After lunch on board and continues downstream to Sagaing. Visit to Sagaing for about Two & half hour’s excursion by coach. Visiting the most important Buddhist Religion site.Back to the board and sail downstream.

Enjoy the sunset over Sagaing Hill. Moor overnight at a sandbank mid-stream. After dinner guests can enjoy a Traditional Dance on the sundeck (if available).

Day 2

Sagaing – Yandabo Village

Yandabo pottery In the morning, cruising downstream to Yandabo Village (Sightseeing Yandabo Village) Dependant on the base economy is famous for the production of terracotta from the riverbank clay .

We see the pottery making process at various stages. Yandabo, historically recognized for the signing of the Yandabo Treaty which took place under a tree on the riverbank in 1826 between the British and Royal Burmese House-hold of Ava.

Shore excursion time is 1 hour. Back to board and cast off. Continue sailing downstream and moor overnight at near Chindwin confluence.

Day 3

Yandabo Village – Bagan

Cast off early morning, continue sailing downstream and approximately arrive in Bagan about 09:30 am. Disembark from board.

Day 1

River Village

Embarkation time is 10:30 am at Irrawaddy Princess Jetty, Welcome Drink and briefing.The board will sail upstream.

In the late afternoon, a stop at the typical river Village. After a short excursion, return back on board and continue upstream and Moor overnight on board.

Day 2

River village - Yandabo Village

In the early morning, continue upstream to Yandabo Village. Dependant on the base economy is famous for the production of terracotta from the riverbank clay.
