Day 2

Hoi An

After breat at the hotel. We begin our discovery of Hoi An ancient town, which was originally a Cham seaport which was influenced thru’ centuries by myriad of traders from various cultures. There are plenty to see in this tranquil and delightful town, some of which are the famous Japanese Covered Bridge, the Pottery Museum, the 200 years old Tan Ky House, the Chua Ong Pagoda and the bustling market. We will visit these sights on an exciting walking tour past many low tiled houses scattered along the mall streets and assembly halls which reflected the town's multi-cultural past.

Hoi An is a town oozing charm and history, having largely escaped the destruction of successive wars. The architecture of Hoi An, which is almost entirely of wood, is of considerable interest. Once a sleepy riverside village, it’s now quite definitely a tourist town – with hotels, restaurants, bars, tailors and souvenir shops dominating the old centre.

Lunch at local restaurant. In the afternoon, we continue to explore the Hoi An countryside by sampan including the Thanh Ha earthenware village. Stay overnight at your hotel of choice in Hoi An Ancient town.
