Toddy cake is one of Myanma traditional snacks. First, specified ratio of sugar and salt must be mixed with some water and boil it to become a thick gravy. Then, kernels of toddy-palm fruit are to be cut into small pieces. Sugar gravy is then poured on pieces of toddy palm fruit. Afterwards, it must be steamed in the pot or steamer for at least five minutes. After five minutes of steaming, you will get soft steamed toddy cake. Subsequently, if you squeeze some juice of lime in it, you get steamed toddy cake with delicious sweet and sour taste.
