Itinerary

Day 1

Siem Reap and arrival (D)

Welcome by the tour guide and driver, transfer to your hotel in Reap. Welcome dinner & enjoy the Khmer traditional dance. Overnight in your proposed hotel in Siem Reap.

Day 2

Angkor Wat - Bayon (B/L)

Rise early to witness a magnificent sunrise at Angkor Wat, and return to your hotel for breakfast. Mid-morning you will be taken to see the South Gate of Angkor Thom, Bayon, Bapuon, Terrace of Elephants and Leper King. Following lunch, visit the fabulous Angkor Wat complex and enjoy seeing a charming sunset at Phnom Bakheng.Dinner on Guest’s account. Overnight at your proposed hotel.

Day 3

Angkor Wat - Ta Prohm - Banteay Srei (B/L)

Breakfast at hotel, visit the Small Circuit to see Banteay Kdei, Srah Srang, Ta Prohm, Ta Keo, Thommanon, and Chausay Tevoda.Lunch at the local restaurant.Drive out from Siem Reap to see the most beautiful temples of Banteay Srei and Banteay Samre, about 30 km from Siem Reap.Trip back to your hotel . Day 4

Siem reap - Boat trip on Tonle Sap river - Vientiane (B/L)

After breakfast. Take a tour to an ethnic local village before taking a boat cruise on Tonle Sap Lake to see a Floating Village.Lunch at the local restaurant. Transfer tothe Airport for flight to Pakse QV 514 ( 14.50pm -15.45pm) then connect flight to Vientiane QV224 (16.45pm -18.00pm). Pick up, transfer to your hotel . Dinner on Guest’s account. Day 5

Vientiane city (B/L)

After breakfast, we continue to explore Vientiane capital by visiting the major sights of the capital; including the oldest temple Wat Sisaket with thousands of miniature Buddha statues and the former royal temple of Wat Prakeo, which previously housed the famous Emerald Buddha Image. Enroute to Lao’s national precious heritage, the famous and sacred structure of That Luang Stupa, you will have the opportunity to take some pictures of the imposing Patuxay Monument, which is well known as Vientiane’s own Arc de Triumph. Afternoon, We continue visiting the rest of Vientiane by foot, including Wat Ong Tue, Wat Inpeng and Wat Haisok. We pass by the major shopping area continuing to the Vientiane Central Market of Talad Sao and Talad Kouadin where various goods are displayed for sale; including fresh food, household goods, souvenirs, textiles, gold, silver and antiques. We return to the Mekong Riverside in the late afternoon for observing the sunset. Dinner on guest’s account. Overnight in your propsoed hotel in Vientiane.

Day 6

Vientiane - Vang Vieng (B/L)

After breakfast, enjoy a 3 hour drive on the national road No. 13 heading north through beautiful landscapes and mountain ranges. On the way, visit the fishing villages of Ban Mo, Hine Heub and other ethnic minority villages of the Lao Lum. Upon arriving in Vang Vieng, we’ll check-in and then continue to explore nearby Tham Xang (Elephant Cave), Tham Hoi (Snail Cave), and Tham Loup (Deep Cave), known for its many stalagmites and stalactites and crystal clear springs.Dinner on Guest ‘s account . Day 7

Vang Vieng - Luang Prabang (B/L)

After breakfast . As part of our half day tour of Vang Vieng, we explore the famous caves of Tham Jang, which was once used by the local people as a hideout from Chinese invaders. We also cross the river to Ban Huai Ngai, a very pleasant village where we can explore the different lifestyles of the locals. Following lunch, we head north up route 13 to Luang Prabang. The stunning mountain scenery makes for an interesting journey. After a couple of photo stops, we arrive in Luang Prabang in the evening. Dinner on Guest’s account. Day 8

Luang Prabang - city tour ( B / L )

Breakfast at the hotel visit to the Royal Palace Museum, which hosts a range of interesting artifacts. We then enjoy a short-guided tour seeing the city’s oldest temple of Wat Sene and the magnificent Wat Xiengthong with its roofs sweeping low to the ground, which represents classical Laotian architecture. Today, we also visit the impressive stupa of Wat Visoun and the shrine of Wat Aham. Following lunch, we visit the Arts and Ethnology Centre to learn about Laos’ many ethnic cultures before we head out of town to see the weaving villages of Ban Xiengkhong and Ban Xienglek. We then return to the city for a visit to Wat Mai. We then climb up to the top of Mount Phousi for an enjoyable exploration of the sacred, gilded stupa as well as a panoramic view of the city at sunset and the Mekong River. The tour ends after a visit to the famous Night Market, where you can find a lovely selection of handmade textiles made by local and hilltribe people surrounding Luang Prabang.Dinner on Guest’s account Overnight in your proposed hotel in Luang Prabang.

Day 9

Luang Prabang - Khuang Si Waterfall (B / L)

Breakfast at the hotel , An optional early start gives you the fantastic opportunity to participate in the daily morning rituals of saffron-clad monks collecting offerings of Alms (often in the form of sticky rice) from the faithful residents. This tradition is very unique in Laos, being the only Buddhist nation still preserving the ritual. You can also visit the morning Phosi Market where you canl see such diverse offerings as dried buffalo skin, local tea and saltpeter among the chickens, vegetables and hill-tribe weavings. Laos is also known for its traditional crafts, and today you will have the opportunity to visit the local village of the Lao ethnic minority groups at Ban Ouay, Ban Ou, and Ban Thapene villages. After visiting the villages, we then drive to the beautiful Khouangsi Waterfalls where you may to wish cool in the inviting pools or walk along the forest paths. We return to Luang Prabang by the late evening in time for the sunset at Wat Siphouthabath . Dinner on Guest’s account. Overnight in your proposed hotel in Luang Prabang.

Day 10

Luang Prabang - Pak Ou - Pakbeng (B/L/D)

Breakfast at the hotel, boat leaves Luang Prabang pier at 7.30am for a cruise up the Mekong to Pakbeng. The boat is cruising to Pak Ou Village, at the mouth of the Nam Ou River, where you will visit the Tam Thing Caves of a Thousand Buddhas. Enjoy a buffet lunch on board then stop at a hilltribe village where you can watch the traditional process of Lao whiskey production. Arrive at Pak Beng around sunset and check in .Enjoy the dinner on the terrace over looking the Mekong River .Overnight in your proposed hotel in Pakbeng (pakbeng lodge )

Day 11

Pakbeng - Houei Say - Chiang Rai (B/L)

Breakfast at the Lodge. At 7.00am board the boat for the second leg of the cruise. En route one stop is made to observe rural life along the Mekong and observe minorities. Buffet lunch on board and then continue to Houei Say where you will arrive before 5.00pm .Continue the trip to the border then drive to Chiang Rai at 21.30pm . Dinner on Guest’s account. Day 12

Chiang Rai Golden Triangle - Chiang Mai (B / L)

Breakfast at the hotel visit to the infamous Golden Triangle renowned for centuries as the centre of the opium trade. From a hill top viewpoint, marvel at the splendor of the mighty Mekong joining with the Ruak and forming the actual “Triangle” with Laos Burma and Thailand Transfer to Chiang Mai hotel check in .Dinner on Guest’s account . Day 13

Chiang Mai Elephant Safari (B/L)

Breakfast at the hotel and then we visit the Elephant Camp at Mae Taman Camp, to see the Elephants at work. You have a chance to ride the elephants crossing the river into the forest. This lasts about 1 hour. Then return by oxcart to the elephant village followed by lunch. After lunch, enjoy a bamboo rafting adventure along the river, for around 45 minutes. Then, onwards to an orchid farm, where there are many beautiful species of orchid. Dinner on Guest’s account . Overnight in your proposed in Chiang Mai.

Day 14

Chiang Mai city tour - Bangkok - Departure (B)

Breakfast at the hotel, today visit to Doi Suthep Temple, which is one of the most sacred temples in Chiang Mai - Wat Phrathat Doi Suthep. Located on hilltop in Northern-Thai style and containing holy relic of Lord Buddha and enjoy seeing panoramic view of the whole city . Then visit to San Kamphaeng district, heart of the Silk and Cotton Home Industries, to witness the fascinating process of making and weaving these popular fabrics.Transfer to Chiang Mai airport for flight to Bangkok PG 907 (14.40pm -16.00pm) , free your time until connect your departure flight .
