Overview
Located in Ninh Binh province 100 km southeast of Hanoi, Hoa Lu and Tam Coc are two of the most picturesque spots in all of the North Viet Nam. Tam Coc (means three caves) is considered as “Ha Long Bay on the land” because of its beauty and charm. Hoa Lu is the Ancient Royal Capital of Vietnam under the Dinh Dynasty and Pre-Le Dynasty from 968 AD to 1010 AD. In Hoa Lu ancient capital left behind two small temples of the Kings each one nearly a thousand years old.
