Itinerary

Day 0

Ho Chi Minh City, Departure

Savor breakfast at your hotel and then leave Ho Chi Minh City. You are picked up and transferred to Tan Son Nhat International Airport. End the trip.
Day 1

Hanoi, Arrival

Arrive in Noi Bai International Airport, and you will be met by our guide and driver. Be picked up and transferred to the center of Hanoi City. Check in at your hotel, and enjoy your dinner at Cha Ca La Vong Restaurant. Have a good night’s rest at the hotel.
Day 2

Hanoi City Tour

Breakfast is served at your hotel. Start the tour by a visit to the Ho Chi Minh Complex, where you contemplate the Ho Chi Minh humble stilt house, One Pillar Pagoda shaped in a lotus flower, and Temple of Literature – the Vietnam’s first university. Cross the red bridge over the lake to Ngoc Son Temple and then travel around Hanoi Old Quarter by rickshaw. Come back to your hotel and feel free to enjoy the classical beauty of Hanoi. Dinner is on your own account.
Day 3

Hanoi – Halong

After breakfast at your hotel, depart for Ha Long Bay. On arriving in the destination, board Dragon Pearl’s Junk and enjoy a welcome drink with luscious lunch. The four-hour cruise will take you through imposing limestone formations to Sung Sot Cave. If the weather is fine enough, you take time for sunbathing and swimming at the place where Dragon Pearl anchors. When night falls, savor an excellent dinner in the restaurant onboard and then come back to your cabin for the night’s rest.
Day 4

Halong – Hanoi – Hue (Brunch)

Take a swim in the cool and calm water. There will be a brunch buffet from 7:30AM to 9:30AM. Disembark and return to Ha Noi City. Be driven to Noi Bai Airport and fly to Hue City. Upon arrival, you are met by the local guide and driver. Be picked up and transferred to your hotel in Hue. Have dinner on your own account.
Day 5

Hue

Have breakfast at your hotel and then cruise on Perfume River. It is a chance to gaze into alluring surrounding landscapes. Pay a visit to the royal tomb of Emperor Tu Duc, Thien Mu Pagoda, and the mausoleum of Emperor Minh Mang. Do lunch at a local restaurant. Take the afternoon trip to Dong Ba Market and the Imperial Citadel, where Nguyen Dynasty governed Vietnam from 1802 to 1945. It is possible to say that today is the day for learning Vietnamese history. You will go through remarkable stages of the history when visiting Purple Forbidden City. Relish the twinkling light at two banks of the river when night falls, and then come back to your hotel. Chill out while listening to folk music performed by the locals. Dinner is on your own account.
Day 6

Hue – Danang – Hoi An

Breakfast at your hotel before departing for Da Nang and Hoi An. Stop en route at Hai Van Pass, Lang Co Beach and Marble Mountains. Do lunch at the local restaurant and keep traveling to Hoi An. On arrival in the afternoon, peer into ancient streets of the UNESCO heritage, illuminated by lanterns hanging everywhere. Go on a visit to Japanese Covered Bridge, Tan Ky’s Old House, and Pottery Museum. Enjoy dinner at your own cost.
Day 7

Hoi An – Danang – Ho Chi Minh City

Enjoy breakfast at your hotel, and then be driven to Da Nang Airport. Upon arrival in Ho Chi Minh City, get picked up by our driver and tour guide and transferred to your accommodation. Check in at your hotel, and later on, begin a sightseeing tour of the city. You will take a chance to explore landmarks, such as Reunification Palace – a symbol of the Vietnam’s independence, Notre Dame Cathedral, and Old Central Post Office, dating back to the French Colonial times. Lunch is served at a local restaurant. Keep the trip to Thien Hau, Quan Am, and Emperor Jade Pagodas, where you will know more about the locals’ spiritual life. Enter War Remnant Museum to gain insights into the Vietnamese history. Ben Thanh Market is the last stop in our itinerary; you can shop for what you wish here. Have dinner at your own cost and then take a good night’s rest in the heart of downtown.
Day 8

Ho Chi Minh City – Tay Ninh – Cu Chi – Ho Chi Minh City

Breakfast before heading towards Tay Ninh, renowned for Caodaism. This religion is unique and widely known as a fusion of Hinduism, Taoism, Confucianism, Buddhism, and Christianity. Upon arrival at Cao Dai Temple, see the architecture of the building and witness the local ceremonies. Before leaving Tay Ning for Cu Chi Tunnels, do lunch at a local restaurant. Right after reaching the tunnel site, take a chance to understand more the guerilla warfare utilized by the Vietnamese during the wartime. Try crawling through small tunnels under the ground, and taste the humble food before coming back to the city center. Dinner is on your own account.
Day 9

Ho Chi Minh City – Cai Be Floating Market

Savor breakfast at your hotel before proceeding towards Cai Be Floating Market on the Mekong River. Make a stop en route at Tan An Town for the fabulous morning view of rice fields. Right after hitting Cai Be, get onto a motorboat to Cai Be Floating Market in order to observe the locals exchanging their commodities on the water. Keep travelling to a nearby village and leisurely stroll in a tranquil orchard. You will gain a taste of the rustic life, explore a small coconut fudge factory, and try delicacies, e.g. candy and rice popcorn. Afterwards, continue cruising along the Mekong River to Binh Hoa Phuoc Village, known as Green Pearl. Dip yourself in nature while doing lunch and listening to Southern folk music. Return to Ho Chi Minh City. Dinner is on your own account.
