Explore Cu Chi tunnels – a famous historic underground heritage in the South of Vietnam. Have a better understanding about the history and culture of Vietnamese.

 

Itinerary

Day 1

ARRIVAL IN HA NOI

Upon your arrival, you will be welcomed at Noi Bai airport. It will take about 35 minutes driving to the center of Ha Noi. Check-in hotel. Explore Old Quarter of Ha Noi to have a brief overview about the daily life of the locals. Visit famous attractions such as Ngoc Son Temple, Sword Lake, and Quan Thanh Taoist Temple. Have a chance to enjoy Sword Lake’s beauty with its pure surface, which is similar to a mirror reflecting the daily objects like clouds, tree lines and the locals’ movements. Enjoy Water Puppet Show in the late afternoon. This is a traditional, unique art closely connected with the spiritual life of Vietnamese. Overnight in Ha Noi.
Day 2

HA NOI CITY TOUR – SHOPPING

Have breakfast. Start city tour from Ba Dinh square – the biggest square in Hanoi where all biggest cultural, political events of the cities, especially demonstrations taking place. Visit Ho Chi Minh’s house-on-stilts, Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, and One-Pillar Pagoda. Continue to Temple of Literature – the 1st social university of Vietnam. It is extremely well preserved and is a superb example of traditional-style Vietnamese architecture. Then go shopping at Dong Xuan Market. Established in 1889, the market is known as the largest indoor market in Ha Noi offering a wide range of goods such as fresh produce, souvenirs, accessories, clothing, electronic and household appliances. Have lunch. Continue to Van Phuc Silk Village and visit some families feeding worms and making famous traditional silk. Spend more time for shopping before returning to Hanoi in the late afternoon.
Day 3

HA NOI – HA LONG - OVERNIGHT ONBOARD

Wake up early to immerse in the fresh atmosphere in the morning in Ha Noi. After having breakfast, depart for Ha Long Bay – UNESCO World Heritage Site for its dramatic landscapes and ethereal beauty. On the way, see the rural life of the Red River Delta’s farmers. Arrive in Ha Long City at noon. Check-in the boat. Cruise along Ha Long Bay, admire the breathtaking beauty of nature. Explore gorgeous grottoes such as Sung Sot and Thien Cung. They have pristine landscapes and a system of thousands years old of stalagmites and stalactites. Admire the gorgeous sunset over the sea.  
Day 4

HA LONG – HA NOI

Continue to cruise in marvelous areas, enjoy the breathtaking landscapes and unique beauty of Ha Long Bay such as Sail Island, Fisherman’s Head Rock, Butterfly Rock or Turtle Islet, etc. Check-out the boat around 11.30. Back to Ha Long Wharf and return to Ha Noi by car. Have lunch at Hong Ngoc Charity Centre. Check-in hotel. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 5

HA NOI – SAI GON

Have breakfast. Transfer to Noi Bai airport to board the flight to Ho Chi Minh City (known as Saigon). You will be welcomed when arriving at Tan Son Nhat airport. Transfer to hotel. Have lunch on your own arrangements. Then explore Reunification Palace which was the former residence of the President of South Vietnam until the end of war on 30th April 1975. Then visit some French architectural works such as Notre Dame Cathedral and Old Central Post Office. Explore Ngoc Hoang pagoda (the “Jade Emperor”) which boasts a set of about 300 ancient statues, including 100 made from cardboard, presenting a meeting of genies with the Jade Emperor. Overnight at hotel in Saigon.
Day 6

SAI GON - CU CHI TUNNELS - SAIGON

Depart for Tay Ninh. It will take approximately 2 hours from Ho Chi Minh City. Visit Cao Dai Temple which is called Great Temple or Holy See. This temple was constructed in 1926 and has now become a place of worship for those who follow Cao Dai religion. At noon, have a chance to join the daily solemn ceremony. On the way back to Ho Chi Minh City, explore Cu Chi Tunnels where revolutionary soldiers lived and fought during the War. The network consists of more than 200km of underground tunnels and three levels deep. It became legendary when playing an important role in Vietnam War. Come back in the late afternoon. Have dinner and overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.
Day 7

SAI GON SHOPPING - DEPARTURE

Have breakfast at hotel. Enjoy your free time. Relax or walk around the city to buy some souvenirs for your family and friends. Our tour guide will pick up at your hotel. Transfer to Tan Son Nhat airport for the departure flight back to your country. End the tour. Please note: Hotel Check-out time is around 12.00.
